Leagues

Leagues are a great way to enjoy the sport with family and friends, while getting into the routine of practicing and learning new skills. Watch your skills improve from week to week, month to month.

Each league event is an eight to ten-week program. It is not a specific day or time, so you can come in anytime during the week to shoot your target. That way you can work it into your schedule. You can also coordinate with family and friends to make it a weekly event of shooting at Target Sports and dining at your favorite restaurant. 

Our leagues are broken into the following categories:

Rimfire
    Under 4-inch barrel
    4-inch and over barrel
Centerfire
    Under 4-inch barrel
    4-inch and over barrel
Optics
Women
    Under 4-inch barrel
    4-inch and over barrel

The two different barrel lengths in the same category will be shooting at different distances but will be competing against one another for overall score prizes.

Each event has a new firearm as the grand prize. The firearm isn't won by the highest score. It's won by a drawing so everyone has a chance to win it. For each league registration, you get 5 entries into the drawing for the firearm.  For each 50 points earned weekly, you get an additional entry into the drawing.  At the end of the league, we hold a drawing for the firearm.  So everyone has a chance at winning the firearm.* 

For those competitive customers, we have prizes for the top three finishers of each category. You can win:

First place – $100 Target Sports Minnesota gift card

Second place – $65 Target Sports Minnesota gift card

Third place - $40 Target Sports Minnesota Gift card

How much does it cost?

There is an initial cost of $50 per league event, per category you sign up for. Targets will be provided at no additional cost.
Many people coordinate their league shooting with special nights, like ladies night or date night to take advantage of the reduced lane fees and free gun rentals. 

*You must complete all targets for all weeks of the league event to be eligible for the firearm drawing.  In order to win the firearm, you must be 21 years or older and have your permit to carry or permit to purchase.  You must be able to successfully complete a Form 4473 and a federal background check.  Anyone under 21 that wins the drawing receives a $300 gift certificate instead of the firearm.
